Lessons at Sagehill Stables

Sagehill Stables offers lesson programs for riders of all ages and abilities, from beginner through advanced levels. Our diverse team of coaches with expertise in both english & western disciplines, including anything from ground-work to jumping, are committed to teaching our students to ride and work safely with horses.

We believe in horses for life, in that all individuals can benefit from the love of horses through all stages of their life

Our programs are designed to teach the foundations of safety and animal welfare so that students have the knowledge to continue with their horse dreams wherever they might take them.

Students at Sagehill are encouraged to pursue their riding dreams whether it be getting on the trails, over fences or over fears. From winning in the show ring or completing Equine Canada Riding Levels. Let us know what your goals are and we will help to get you there!

We even have text books and learning resources available for purchase to help improve your knowledge or study for your upcoming Equine Canada Level Test! See our programs below!

What to expect?
This program is unique and can benefit anyone (even those with riding experience). You can experience all the health and wellness benefits from horses without having to get in the saddle. Whether you are nervous about horses, had a previous bad experience or just want to figure out what all the fuss is about with horses, this is a great program to try out!

The program is ground work based so that participants can develop confidence, knowledge and skills without having to start-off with riding. Participants are able bond with horses while developing essential horsemanship skills necessary for caring for and riding horses successfully in the future. The classes start off with grooming and basic groundwork, which develop into fun games and challenges for the participants to compete in with their horse partner.

Upcoming Classes:
4 Fridays in Starting Friday Nov. 13th 2020
