Intro to Working Equitation Clinic & Schooling Show
July 20 to 22 Sagehill Stables will be hosting Kim Jungman, president of Working Equitation Canada (WECan)! This exciting "new to Canada" equine sport is quickly growing and is open to all disciplines and breeds! This event is novice friendly, all levels of riders welcome. Ride in your Western saddle, Australian saddle or English saddle!

4180 Waverley Street Winnipeg, MB 4 km south of the Perimeter highway, just outside of St. Norbert The weekend will consist of a 2-day Intro to Working Equitation Clinic, Friday July 20 to Saturday July 21st, and a Schooling Show Sunday July 22nd. Sagehill Stables has 2, indoor areas so we will be able to offer all events and warm-up ring rain or shine! Details on Kim Jungman, clinician and judge, are below! Stabling and day stalls available on a first come first serve basis. |
Clinic Details
The 2-day Intro to Working Equitation Clinic with Kim Jungman will be Friday July 20 and Saturday July 21st 2018, with a 10am start on Friday. Kim will cover the three parts to the event: ease of handling, dressage and speed.
All levels of riders welcome, this will be a novice-friendly environment. We will only be taking 10 participants, to insure more one on one time with Kim. $275 for the clinic (lunch on both days included). Auditing fee $25/day or $40 for both days (includes lunch). $100 non-refundable deposit required upon registration Stabling available: Day stall $10/d Overnight $25/d Bedding included. Participants required to bring their own feed, hay, and water buckets and clean their own stall. Please note a negative coggins will be required for all horse trailering into Sagehill Stables this summer and is required by all boarders |
About Kim JungmanKim Jungman is from the Saskatoon area and is the president of Working Equitation Canada. Her focus is on a classical training base with emphasis on creating a light and harmonious partnership. This is one of the many clinics on her schedule this summer as she travels Canada to promote this new and exciting discipline. Kim also shows and breeds Lusitano's! Schooling Show DetailsA WECan Sanctioned Schooling Show will be held Sunday July 22nd 2018. All breeds and disciplines welcome! Novice friendly! 9am start with dressage tests. Ease of handling and speed events will start late morning to early afternoon. Accepting a max of 20 participants for schooling show.
All WECan members will get a $5/discount per phase. Fees:

Ribbons for 1st to 3rd place for each level, for both Junior (8 to 17) and Amateur (18+) age categories. Classes will be held indoors and will run rain or shine! Warm-up ring available throughout the day.
