What is Drill Team?
Drill Team is a fun "team" activity for equestrians. Although horse back riding is commonly an individual sport, drill team has riders and horses work together to perform patterns to music in unison. The effect is magical!
Drill Team runs typically during the winter and summer session at Sagehill Stables.
Who can join? Any students at the novice, intermediate and advanced levels. Students do need to be able to catch their horse and tack-up independently.
Winter Session 2023:
Proposed practice time is Fridays 6 to 7pm (arrive by 5:30 to tack-up) - if this doesn't work for enough students we will look at alternatives
9 lessons starting January 27th 2023
Performance: 1 to 2 performances during public events over spring break 2023 (March 27 to 31 2023) TBD
Students in Winter Session: $30/practice + GST
Students not currently in Winter Session: $46/practice + GST
Please note that students have to pay for all practices whether or not they attend.
If you are interested but Friday doesn't work, please still contact us and we will see if an alternative practice time can be arranged.
