What can we do for you?
Do you own horses on your own property and are looking for a coach to help you out? Are you boarded somewhere that doesn't have a lesson program or coach for you to use?
We want to help horses and horse people in our community! We have new services available to help horse owners looking for help! Our coaches prioritize safety and horse welfare, and all lessons and services will be based on helping to educate equestrians with these aspects in mind.
COACHES:
All coaches will have emergency first-aid, vulnerable sector and criminal record checks, and Respect in Sport and Making Headway courses via Sport Manitoba. Some coaches have additional qualifications and certifications. Clients will be given the option of different coaches to choose from if more than one is available in their area.
Current Coaches Available for Travelling Services:
- Samantha Toews: hunter jumper lessons and show coaching
- Roberta Buttelli: reining, western riding, show coaching
- Caleigh Hoffman: beginner to intermediate hunter jumper and dressage, training rides and conditioning

LESSON RATES:
All lessons and rides will be based on a 1 hr time-slot and assume the client is providing their own horse. 1 hr may include assistance with tack and tack-up, horse care, and theory at the discretion of the coach, and may not be all riding time.
Assessment Lesson: $90 first rider + travel fee + GST, $50 per additional rider
The assessment lesson is the first lesson and used for the coach and Sagehill to assess the rider(s) and horse(s) needs and goals, and go over the requirements Sagehill has for the property safety and horses health and welfare in order to have a partnership with individuals. This includes talking to the coach about issues you are having with riding or behavior, assessing current health of the horse, and feed programs. May include a lesson or training ride. We will send you feedback for questions brought up during the assessment within 1 week, whether or not you decide to book future lessons. Our goal is to get out in communities to assist, reassure and educate horse owners.
*Assessments may take up to 1.5 hrs
