Schoolies Donations, Sponsorship & Business Advertising Opportunities
With ever increasing inflation, and huge ups and downs in hay prices over the past 5 years, covering the schoolies veterinary and board expenses has become increasingly challenging, especially since we want to make sure they are getting everything they need to live a comfortable, happy and fulfilled life. In 2023, inflation caused our vet and health supplement bills alone to jump by over 30% (i.e., nearly $10,000 in one year) despite not having an increased number of horses, and that doesn't include increases in other costs like hay, farrier costs, tack and other inputs.
Besides coving their medical and board costs, there are lots of additional projects we need to complete to ensure the schoolies are living their best lives. Projects we would like to continue to achieve in 2023 and 2024 include finishing our Paddock Paradise Track System, building 2 shelters, and improving the footing in the pens and arenas, plus updating the tack and blankets inventory for the schoolies. Part of covering costs of inflation is reflected in increasing lesson prices. We have increased both school horse fees and lesson prices by 5% each in summer 2024 (about $20/month per student) to start to help offset this increase, but we know that a 30% jump in school horse fees would make it unfeasible for many students to continue riding. So we need to get creative to cover these increasing costs and continue to provide the schoolies with the best care possible. |
Business Sponsorship Packages:
Sagehill Stables has over 200 individual clients per week ride in the arenas. Many of these boarders and students post their pictures of their ride on social media regularly. Sagehill Stables itself has around 4000 total social media followers and had over 20k interactions on social media per month on average so far in 2024! We think there is a great opportunity for businesses to advertise with us on our arena boards, just like at a hockey rink, as well as online via our website and social media. We are looking for schoolies sponsors! We are hoping that we can find each schoolie at least one sponsor annually to help ensure they are getting everything they need.

Donate new or gently used items for the schoolies! Things we are looking for:
- fly sheets (various sizes 72, 74, 76, 78, 80, 82, 84), fly boots, fly masks
- winter blankets (various sizes 72, 74, 76, 78, 80, 82, 84)
- rain sheets (various sizes 72, 74, 76, 78, 80, 82, 84)
- jump boots and bell boots
- hoof picks
- gently used bridles and reins, stirrup leathers and saddles (English and Western)
