Equestrian Development Program
The Equestrian Development Program (EDP) is our regular weekly riding lesson program for for students ages 8 to 70+ who have completed the Introductory Riding Program OR who have experience taking lessons at another stable (if coming from another stable, an assessment lesson required - see below).
Our diverse team of coaches with expertise in primarily English & some western disciplines are committed to teaching our students to ride and work safely with horses. All of our lesson programs are designed to teach the foundations of safety and animal welfare so that students have the necessary knowledge to continue with any horse-related endeavors including leasing or owning a horse someday! Sagehill students are encouraged to pursue their riding dreams whether it be getting on the trails, over fences or over fears. From winning in the show ring or completing Equine Canada Riding levels, let us know what your goals are and we will help to get you there!
Skill levels in the Equestrian Development program include post-intro, novice, intermediate and advanced. Post-intro and novice students will be booked in time-slots where they will have help with catching and tack-up until they can become independent. We do have some lesson groups that are all adults, as well as mixed adult and youth that are at the same skill level and working towards the same goals.
