Registering for the Equestrian Development Program on ECPro

1. Log-in to your ECPro account:  https://sagehillstables.ecpro.co.uk/
Don't have an account yet or need help with navigating your account?  Click here to go to the ECPro info page.

Your user name is your email that you registered with.  If you forgot your password, click on  "forgot password" to reset.
Can't log-in?  Send us an email and we'll help you get into your account.  New to Sagehill?  email us at [email protected]

2. View the upcoming proposed scheduled
All students can view the upcoming proposed schedule by clicking on "Account Home", and then clicking on "Booking Calendar: See What's On"
View the first week of lessons for the upcoming session to see the proposed schedule (for example, for fall session 2025, look at the week of Sept 15 through 21st).

PLEASE NOTE THIS BOOKING CALENDAR STARTS ON A MONDAY, NOT A SUNDAY.
Courses are listed on the calendar according to their tack-up time, but the name of the class includes the riding time, day of the week and coach's name.

Please note that the schedule is proposed and class times may change if we don't get enough students to run certain timeslots (this may shift a whole day if we have to cancel a lesson on the schedule).  If we have to change your lesson time and you can no longer make the class time work, we will refund your deposit.

Notes on Deposits:
Deposits are equal to the school horse fees + tack fee + GST for the whole session and, once you are confirmed in the program, deposits are non-refundable, even you if quit or miss lessons in the program part way through.  The payment plan for EDP Program is listed on the EDP page here.  Please note 24-hrs notice is now required to receive a make-up lesson. Students who are behind on payments will have their lessons automatically cancelled via ECPro.

The deposits ensure that we will be able to maintain the health and well-being of the horses  during the session even if students can't continue AND ensure we have enough horses allowing us to invest in more horses if registration numbers are high.  Click here to see the Lesson Student Contracts on the private client page for more info on the deposits, make-ups lessons (require 24 hrs notice, must be completed by the end of the session) and your commitment to the number of lessons in a session. Ensure you have a signed copy emailed to [email protected].

For example, deposit for Fall Session 2025 is 13 lessons x $38 with GST = $518.70 (school horse fee is $32, tack fee is $6 + GST x 13 lessons)
If students are wondering if the deposit seems high, remember that boarders pay $460+GST/month for board alone (not including vet fees, farrier fees, extra feeds/meds, lessons, purchasing tack, purchase price of the horse and cost of renting a school horse when their horse goes lame), so committing to 13 lessons over 4 months is an affordable option considering the alternative of owning your own horse!

Boarders DO NOT need a deposit if using their own horse - they should see that the course is discounted when they register for a course and select their own horse.  If you don't see a discount and you are using your own horse, please email the office so we can fix your account.

3. Register for your course of choice
Once you click on the course/class of your choice from the booking calendar, it will take you to the booking page.  Once on the booking page, make sure the start date of the class is selected, then scroll down to COURSES.

Click on the class you want to register in. The details of the class, including the class schedule will show, along with other details of the session/program. You will need to select the rider for the course, if you are using a school horse or your own horse, and if you are paying in full or with the payment plan.

Add-Ons: You will be asked if you want to add anything onto your FALL lesson package.  You can choose a:
  • fall student locker rental ($15 month + GST, pay for all 4 months upfront)
  • a lesson lease ($15/lesson + GST, pay for all 13 lessons upfront - we will credit your account back if you can't ride that horse due to unforeseen circumstances)
  • if you are doing 2x week lessons with a 1/4 lease and upgrading your practice rides to lessons, please select the lesson lease option when you book into ONE of your courses and contact the office to book you into your 2nd course manually
  • or a 1/4 lease with 6 horse uses per month (typically 2 practice rides a month, 4 lessons per month, but for months with only 3 lessons like September, you would get 3 lessons and 4 practice rides). You will be billed for Nov and Dec on Nov 1.

Please read #5 below for lesson lease and 1/4 lease details before you select these options.  Note that add-ons need to be paid for along with the deposit at the time of registration.  The remaining payment plans will be to cover lesson fees only.

PLEASE SELECT IF YOU WANT TO REGISTER WITH A PAYMENT PLAN BEFORE GOING TO THE CHECKOUT (or students can choose to pay for the session upfront as well if they choose to).  Do not select pay by invoice on the check-out page. Once you are ready to confirm your selection, you will need to check-out by going to your basket.  For tips on paying your invoices in ECPro and paying with etransfers, read the ECPro help page.

If you want to pay via etransfer instead of credit card, students need to etransfer us the deposit to [email protected] and we will add it as a credit to you account.  Once the credit is added, you can check-out and pay for the deposit (first payment) of the course with the credit and no ECPro  credit card fees will be applied.

Make-up lesson time-slots will be scheduled throughout the session with various coaches.  Please note we will no longer be doing make-ups within a scheduled course (can't join other classes to do a make-up).  If a whole course/lesson is cancelled due to instructor availability or weather, we will re-schedule the entire class to a different date (won't be considered a makeup lesson).  If you cancel with 24-hrs notice, you will receive a make-up lesson token that can be used in any make-up lesson or fun event, which can be found on the Make-up Lesson and Fun Event schedule.  Please arrive 30 minutes in advance to tack-up for make-up lessons and fun events (tack-up won't be scheduled separately like in courses).

Note: If you are in a semi-private or group lesson and cancellations with 24-hrs notice result in only one person in the lesson, the whole lesson will be rescheduled.

Don't worry, if we CAN'T find you a time-slot that works as we confirm the schedule, we will re-fund your deposit.

Ensure that you have signed up for an appropriate level for group lessons (note: level doesn't matter for private lessons):

  • POST INTRO/BEGINNER: completed the intro program, first time in the EDP program (will have assisted tack-up included with a coach or junior coach). Work on improving position at the trot, learning to catch and release horse outside, work towards independent tack-up
  • NOVICE: confident posting trot and just learning how to canter (will have assisted tack-up included with a coach or junior coach)
  • INTERMEDIATE: working on becoming confident in the canter on a variety of horses, just starting to learn about collection, bending, and on the bit (catch and tack-up independently or assistance for a fee)
  • ADVANCED: confident in collection, can ride any of the lesson horses, getting a horse on the bit and advanced movements (catch and tack-up independently or assistance for a fee)

4. What to do if you don't see a lesson that works OR you aren't sure about what lesson to join?
If you want to join the fall session but don't see a time that works for you, you can etransfer your deposit to [email protected] and include in the note what type of lesson you are looking for (private, semi-private or group) and we will work on scheduling something for you.  If we can't make something work we will refund your deposit.

5. Leases: Fall Session 2025

If you are doing a lesson lease, riding the same horse in your weekly lesson, please select the lesson lease add-on ($15/lesson x 13 lessons)

If you are doing a ¼ lease and coming 2x a month for a practice ride, please select the Fall Session 2025 ¼ lease add on with 6 horse uses per month (additional $152.75/month for Sept & Oct).  As we require 30 days notice to cancel a lease agreement, we are asking for Sept and Oct lease fees up front.  If you cancel, please email the office and your remaining lease fees with the 30 days notice will be credited to your account.  We will assume you will continue leasing in November and December and will bill you accordingly if we don't receive notice.  Nov and Dec lease fees will be billed Nov 1. There is no option to to start half-way through a month. If you start a lease part-way during the session, you'll need to email the office.

Practice ride tokens will be added to your account once you register for your lease.  As there are only 13 lessons in the fall session, there will be an additional 3 practice ride tokens added to your account to use throughout Sept 1 to Dec 31, 2025 to ensure leasers get all their horse uses

If you are doing a ¼ lease but want to do 2x week lessons instead of practice rides, you will need to register for one course, and select the lesson lease add-on, then contact the office and we will manually add you into your 2nd lesson/course.

Reminder show team students showing in the summer will need to be riding 2x a week over the fall. This can be done via leasing, purchasing practice rides or joining the Young Leaders or Coach Mentorship Program.
