Horses have the power to heal without saying a word.

Many people in our community are grappling with depression, anxiety, loneliness, displacement and trauma.

We are offering a special program at Sagehill Stables to help start the healing process.  Horses have the power to listen, heal and comfort without saying a word, without judgement and without prejudice.  You can visit, groom and just be in the power and energy of the horse.

Healing Beyond Words...

• Book a time-slot for yourself to spend some time with one of our horses
• Come alone or bring up to one guest/parent/guardian 
• Participants can groom and spend time with a horse -  relax, tell them your secrets or just be present in the moment
• A coach will be on hand to help you with safety and questions, and help interpret horse behavior
• Please note there is no riding in these sessions and this is not a groundwork lesson. Horses will be tied up and available to meet, groom and socialize with.
• Please dress appropriately for the weather.  Visiting sessions will be done indoors, but barns and arenas are not heated to room temperature so be prepared
• Please ensure you come with closed-toed footwear. Participants will not be allowed to visit with horses in sandals or flats.
• A 30 minute time-slot is $30 + GST
• All participants will be required to fill out a liability release
• No refunds will be given on missed appointments, but with 24-hrs notice you can move your appointment to an alternative time
• Please note we can accommodate persons in wheelchairs or limited mobility, but please let us know in advance so we can set things up accordingly
